RN-Per Diem
The Inpatient Geriatric Psych Unit at Samaritan Hospital is a 20-bed unit, and part of the Behavioral Health Center within the hospital. We offer a warm, attractive, homelike environment with both private and semiprivate rooms. An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric and social needs of the older adult.
Older adults are more susceptible to depression and behavioral health problems due to their declining health and loss of friends and loved ones. We combine the expertise of Samaritan Hospital and The Eddy to address the unique psychiatric and psychological needs of the geriatric patient.
For nearly 30 years, Samaritan Hospital has served as a resource for individuals dealing with psychological, psychiatric and addiction challenges. Believing that everyone is entitled to respect, personal dignity and the opportunity to take an active part in their plan of care, our programs provide a safe and secure environment to enhance the lives of thousands of individuals and families. By offering opportunities for independence and the skills needed to overcome the challenges of their illness, we help to improve our clients' productivity, self-esteem and satisfaction with life.
** Pay Range:** $40.00 - $53.10
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

* Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings. By finding common ground and embracing our differences, we grow stronger together and deliver more compassionate, person-centered care. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Trinity Health is a family of 115,000 colleagues and nearly 26,000 physicians and clinicians across 25 states. Because we serve diverse populations, our colleagues are trained to recognize the cultural beliefs, values, traditions, language preferences, and health practices of the communities that we serve and to apply that knowledge to produce positive health outcomes. We also recognize that each of us has a different way of thinking and perceiving our world and that these differences often lead to innovative solutions.
Our dedication to diversity includes a unified workforce (through training and education, recruitment, retention, and development), commitment and accountability, communication, community partnerships, and supplier diversity.
