District Sales Manager - Remote

Location:

West NY – 80% local travel required.

Job Summary

As a District Sales Manager, you’ll work virtually with distributors to achieve sales goals and expand the Mac Tools business across the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve annual operating plan by working with distributors to increase route averages and recruiting new distributors into the territory.
  • Conduct Field Excellence Meetings (FEMs) every 60 days (six times a year), including lifting more than 10 pounds of product to showcase to customers.
  • Provide coaching and support to distributors during truck ride‑along visits 3–4 days per week.
  • Deliver new franchisee training and support during initial two‑week ride‑alone periods and subsequent coaching as directed by the Regional Manager.
  • Lead monthly Field Excellence Meetings with the entire district.
  • Participate in Student Tech shows.
  • Manage regional credits and adjustments.
  • Perform route surveys for new starts and at the request of the Regional Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of route/field sales experience and at least 2 years of management experience directing multiple field sales professionals.
  • Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry and knowledge of the local automotive repair market.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent into an organization.
  • Experience as a small‑business owner or in coaching/mentoring small‑business owners.
  • Ability to lift more than 10 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $84,000 – $135,200 (total target cash compensation may vary). Eligible for sales incentive plan or commission.
