Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, stockroom corridors, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior and potential policy violations; help to deter theft and/or disorder by maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating response with store leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
• Complete security-related reports and shift documentation, communicate observations to supervisors and on-site contacts, and support access control and crowd flow during peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
