Housing Liaison

Unity House of Troy is currently seeking a Housing Liaison to join our Domestic Violence Housing Support Services Program. $750 sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and case management services to domestic violence victims who reside in our permanent housing program.
  • Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning.
  • Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services.
  • Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities.
  • Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends.
  • Promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 or more years of related experience. Valid and clean NYS driver's license. Reliable transportation. High School or GED required with at least 3 years of related experience in the human services and/or domestic violence fields. Please be familiar with HUD, federal and state housing regulations preferred but not required. Bi-Lingual a great asset!
