The Commercial Project Engineering group is responsible for supporting the commercial wheel and brake portfolio through the full life cycle of the aircraft. Beginning with design and development, through production support, and in-service sustainment, the commercial project engineering team is the main point of contact for coordination with the OE customer. As the engineering Integrated Project Team leader, the Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and executing project plans to ensure continued support of the commercial wheel and brake portfolio.
What You Will Do:- Manage the planning, execution and tracking/reporting of engineering activities including project budgets related to commercial W&B products in a timely manner to meet internal and external customer timelines.
- Support the Commercial project engineering team in the product development process
- Lead and drive assigned engineering projects and actions to closure in a timely fashion while providing updates to the wider organization.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive the mitigations to closure with assistance the supporting technical team.
- Serve as the main point of contact for coordination with the OE customer
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Previous project management experience and experience in a customer facing role 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience using Microsoft Suite(Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong communication and cross-collaboration with various teams and leadership
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
