Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs.
May have on call responsibilities.
No supervisory responsibilities. No FTEs supervised.

Associate degree.

- Cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage
- Advanced CT computer applications
- Radiation safety
