Join our team as an IV Pharmacy Technician, ensuring seamless medication delivery to long‑term care facilities. The IV Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile admixtures and compounding IV solutions while following 797 USP Standards. The role plays a critical part in maintaining cleanroom standards, managing inventory and handling documentation.

Onsite – 962 S Dorset Rd, Troy, OH 45373

Compensation: $18.00

Schedule:

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday – Friday (one holiday a year and one weekend shift a month)

• Adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either the direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer.
• Fill IV orders, including mixing IV medications, mathematically calculating doses, and applying all sterile techniques as applicable.
• Send supplies and equipment to facilities.
• Maintain all IV mixing records.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance checks on all equipment.
• Program all infusion pumps.
• Enter data for all applicable I.V. orders.
• Order supplies from various vendors.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• Perform technician assignments as requested by pharmacy management.
• Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log.
• Actively contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures.
• Assist with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered to.
• Participate in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Work with others in a positive, productive manner and respond to the position’s areas of responsibility.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Current National/State Pharmacy Certification preferred; basic computer knowledge required; must understand medical terminology, math and analytical skills.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred; sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English as the primary language.

• Strong computer skills.
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations.
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long‑term care pharmacy preferred, but not required.
