Medical Assistant or LPN - Orthopedics

Premier Orthopedics Upper Valley (MA or LPN) – 80 hours per pay period

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Premier Health Physician Companies offices. The successful candidate will see up to 30 patients per day, providing general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.

As an integral part of our office, you will assist in delivering the best patient experience every time.

The role includes independently performing procedures such as rooming patients, collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administering injections, conducting EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are required.

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program or is a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility is preferred.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self‑motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
• CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
