Order Entry Pharmacy Technician; 2nd shift

Remedi Senior Care is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

Location
:
On site at our closed-door pharmacy (962 Dorset Rd, Troy)

Salary
: $16-$18/hr, depending on experience

Schedule
: 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, 4:00pm-12:30am or 5:00pm-1:30am. Monday
- Friday and every other weekend.

Training
: 6-8 weeks 8:30am-5pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide over the phone customers to doctors and nurses
• Efficient order entry and follow-up
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Must work with urgency and timeliness

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
