Supply Chain Ops/Service Specialist Details:
- Contract to Hire position
- $ 25.00 / hour
- Weekend Shift (Tuesday through Saturday from 02:30am to 11:00am)
The Supply Chain Operations / Customer Service Specialist supports a dedicated dealer delivery network by monitoring daily transportation operations, tracking shipments, and providing proactive communication regarding delivery status. This role serves as a key point of contact for drivers, dealerships, customers, and internal teams to resolve service issues, monitor operational performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where tracking multiple shipments, solving problems, and communicating updates are essential.
Monitor and track dedicated drivers using GPS tracking and transportation management systems (TMS).
Track and trace shipments, identify service delays, and proactively communicate updates to customers, dealerships, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
Provide support to drivers with delivery, equipment, routing, and service-related issues.
Contact drivers to follow up on delivery concerns and obtain shipment status updates.
Analyze operational reports and system data to identify service issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Review transportation documentation for accuracy and maintain customer information.
Investigate and resolve operational or customer service issues by collaborating with internal departments and external partners.
Maintain customer profiles and delivery requirements to ensure service expectations are met.
Supply Chain Ops/Service Specialist
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, dispatch, customer service, or operations support preferred.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), GPS tracking software, or similar logistics platforms is a plus.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
