- Interpret inspection reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure part dimensions are compliant.
- Communicate within and outside of the quality department to report on parts status.
- Assist in resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance resource issues as they arise.
- Report maintenance‑related issues with equipment to appropriate personnel.
- Notify other shifts of problems encountered and steps toward resolution.
- Work in a team environment to accomplish work and solve problems.
- Maintain appropriate records related to the Quality System.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s or Associate/2‑year degree not required, but a plus.
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED with manufacturing environment experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing precision measurements and inspections using CMMs or other measurement equipment.
- Good experience in Poly Works Probing system.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation and application.
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and product blueprints in English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
$33 - $35 Per Hour. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work RequirementsThis role is considered an on‑site position located in Troy, OH.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
