Operations Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary
Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM. Hourly Rate: $22.47 an hour + $1.00 shift differential. Support plant sanitation using chemicals, cleaning processes, sanitation equipment, and the disassembly and cleaning of equipment to comply with SSOPs and USDA guidelines. Eliminate sources of contamination, maintain low bacteria counts, and report damaged or unsafe equipment. Requires understanding of multiple chemicals and sanitation procedures in food safety.
Reports to the sanitation leadership team. Works in a safe manner under time restraints. Knowledgeable of all chemicals and MSDS sheets. Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. Works in a team environment. Tear down and set up production equipment. Certification of Lock out/Tag out needed. Work in hot or cold/wet/steamy environments. Take simple directions and multitask. Perform job tasks while wearing correct PPE.
Flex schedule around production times and available for overtime.
- Support CPS activities, including Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team participation, and CSD.
- Support plant sanitation in the use of chemicals, cleaning processes, sanitation equipment, disassembly, and cleaning of equipment to comply with SSOPs and USDA guidelines.
- Eliminate sources of contamination and maintain low bacteria counts.
- Report damaged or unsafe equipment.
- Tear down and set up production equipment.
- Work in hot or cold/wet/steamy environments.
- Perform physical tasks while wearing correct PPE.
- Flex schedule around production times and available for overtime.
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs.
- Certification of Lock out/Tag out.
- Can work from heights up to 30 feet.
- Knowledgeable of all chemicals and MSDS sheets.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime.
