Carpentry Builder - 2nd shift

Clopay Corporation is the largest residential and commercial garage door manufacturer in North America, headquartered in Mason, Ohio, with facilities in Troy, Ohio;
Mountaintop, Pennsylvania; and Goodyear, Arizona.

Location:

Troy, Ohio.

2nd shift – Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Starting pay $18.50 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $26.30 after 24 months.

• Assemble garage doors using hand tools, power tools, and operating equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Apply identifying labels to doors and/or boxes as required.
• Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that don’t meet quality specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the work area and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent and ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• Carpentry experience required.
• Basic knowledge of hardware required for various door models.
• Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
• Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
