Job Summary
Provide various support to the overall facility maintenance, including support for the production lines, installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, repair, movement, and maintenance of a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems.
Shift ScheduleFirst Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Second Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Apply one or more craft skills (e.g., mechanical, electrical, welding, pipe fitting, machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain diverse production equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, piping, conveyor systems, furnaces, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, extruders, chemical tanks, production machinery, and instrumentation.
- Install new machinery and equipment; relocate equipment to effect layout changes.
- Perform rigging, moving, erecting, aligning, necessary hook‑ups, and place equipment in proper operating condition.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities of all types, including critical dismantling, re‑assembly, adjustments, lubrication, and calibration.
- Stand for extended periods and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, or crawling as required.
- Lift or move up to 10 lb regularly, up to 25 lb frequently, and up to 50 lb occasionally.
- Provide hand tools and a toolbox.
- Hold a valid Forklift Operator's license or complete required training.
- Strong demonstrable knowledge of electronics, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, machining, and mechanical theory.
- Previous experience supporting an industrial fluid application facility is preferable.
- Excellent oral and written communication, computer skills, and ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
Certification in electronics, electrical, HVAC, machining, and/or mechanical theory. - 3‑5 years of general production maintenance experience at a journeyman level, including craft skills (mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain production equipment and building systems.
