Be able to use appropriate equipment to create and repair tooling. These duties are to be performed within quality and production standards.
Position Responsibilities- Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including, but not limited to, grinders, EDM, CNC, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes, etc.
- Support stamping operations and troubleshoot production problems.
- Other duties as required.
- Hands-on experience with various stamping operations preferred (e.g., transfer, progressive, blanking)
- Proficient reading blueprints and sketches.
- Follow all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work any shift
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
