Machine Operator

Shift & Rate

Shift: 6:30 AM–4:15 PM. Hourly Rate: $23.15.

This person will be required to process frozen raw meat products for making sausage, pepperoni and SJ products, rotating through all aspects of the stuffing area. Duties include operating stuffers, handling loops of product, racking, tub handling, and trolley washing, and responsible for the teardown and setup of machinery.

• Operate stuffing machinery and perform routine teardown/setup.
• Handle loops and product during stuffing, racking, tub handling, and trolley washing.
• Track different blends using accurate math skills and read comprehensive blend requirements.
• Ensure proper GMP, safety and USDA guidelines are followed.
• Support CPS activities such as Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team participation, and CSD.
• Complete required daily paperwork per quality guidelines.
• Assist in training documentation development, implementation, and sustaining (CSD).
• Assist other cells as directed by Supervisor/Line Lead/Cell Lead.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

• Positive attitude, self‑starter, and team player.
• Good math skills for blending and tracking.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow blend requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs. h, lift 80lb. repetitively, bend, lift, and reach.
• Ability to work in a cool environment (35‑45°F) for 12hours a day.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
