Slitter Operator 1st Shift

Overview

Set up, operate, and maintain slitting machines that cut large rolls of material (metal, plastic, or paper) into narrower strips. Ensure precise cuts, monitor machine performance, and conduct quality checks to meet production standards. Responsible for operation of coating machines, loading and unloading product. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Loading different types of paper products to be coated.

Dress code: steel-toed boots; jeans and t-shirt.

• Set up, operate, and maintain slitting machines to produce narrow strips from large rolls of material.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct quality checks to meet production standards.
• Operate coating machines as required and load/unload product.
• Follow safety and dress code requirements; lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; steel-toed boots required.
• Experience with loading/unloading or working with paper products is a plus.
