Location:
Troy, OH. Role:
Warehouse Operator at Collins Aerospace. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and transporting materials, packaging, and inventory management.
- Receive job assignments and special instructions from supervisor.
- Verify receipts, stockroom materials, and shipment items against documentation.
- Prepare material verification slips, receivers, , inventory slips, and other paperwork.
- Unload and load vehicles, transport materials within shipping, receiving, or inspection areas as required.
- Receive, store, and retrieve materials, transporting them to designated departments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Initiate and order packaging supplies, create SPL packaging jobs, and plan necessary packaging materials.
- Deliver materials to and from the mailroom, shipping, and receiving.
- Prepare items for shipment: box or crate items, package, count, weigh, label, paint or mark, and complete required paperwork.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Attend training classes, departmental meetings, and finish other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Retrieve items from the tool crib and complete associated forms/transactions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience OR minimum of 2 years of warehouse manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with technical documents such as routings, blueprints, engineering process specifications, and written work instructions.
- Lifting up to 25 lb unaided; items over 25 lb must be assisted.
- Heightened reaching, moving, standing, twisting, stooping, and responding to sounds.
- Must wear personal protective equipment and follow EH&S rules.
