Production Hand Repair Welders

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% visual inspection on all welds.
• Repair any welds (MIG) that do not meet specification.
• Tap required nuts for spatter removal.
• Inspect parts for quality concerns.
• Detect and report defective materials to supervisor.
• Conduct machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals.
• Perform general clean‑up and organization of work area (SCORE – Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

• Ability to manually apply a quality weld either through work experience or related education.
• Follow all safety requirements of the company – PPE (hat, glasses, steel‑toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) and safe job behaviors.
• Able to read and understand operation standards and job instructions.
• Able to use basic tools.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
