Engage our team and improve our processes. Seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead a specialty polystyrene manufacturing operation located in Troy, Ohio. This is a technical leadership role requiring a strong understanding of chemical mixing and polymer manufacturing. You will be responsible for the entire 24/7 production of polystyrene pellets. • Lead the daily operations of a 24/7 manufacturing facility with approximately 30 employees.
• Provide leadership and direction to production, maintenance, quality and plant personnel while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Optimize production, quality, efficiencies and overall plant performance.
• Work closely with technical and commercial teams to support customer requirements and new product development.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues involving chemical mixing and polymer production.
• Develop employees, improve processes and help drive the long-term growth of the business.

• The Troy, Ohio facility has been producing polystyrene since 1991 and has built a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise and customer responsiveness.
• Operating independently allows the company to provide greater flexibility, faster decision making and customized solutions for its customers.
• Current production exceeds 4 million pounds per month, with the capacity to produce up to 9 million pounds monthly.

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in chemical processing, polymer manufacturing, engineered resins or a related process industry.
• Strong technical understanding of chemical mixing, reaction processes or polymer manufacturing is required.
• Experience with polystyrene manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead manufacturing operations, develop teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
