Manufacturing Manager

A client of ours is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager
. This individual will provide leadership across multiple production departments, driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and improving manufacturing performance in a regulated environment.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching supervisors, solving operational challenges, and building systems that improve safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas
- Develop and mentor supervisors while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Improve production efficiency, throughput, quality, and on-time delivery
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs to drive performance and informed decision-making
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Planning to achieve business objectives
- Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives, waste reduction, and process optimization
- Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Support workforce development, succession planning, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer, regulatory, and quality management system requirements
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven success managing multiple production departments, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence principles
- Experience developing manufacturing KPIs and improving productivity, quality, and delivery performance
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, production scheduling, and manufacturing planning
- Experience working within an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of quality management systems, controlled documentation, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or other high-reliability industries is strongly preferred
