Duraco Specialty Tapes LLC seeks a Technical Specialist to support production of pressure-sensitive and foam tapes for diverse industrial customers. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot line issues, monitor quality, and optimize processes to meet performance and safety standards. Partner with operations, quality, and engineering to run trials, document procedures, and resolve customer-related product issues. You'll analyze data, recommend improvements, and train operators on best practices while supporting Duraco's culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production line and equipment issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Monitor and inspect adhesive tape products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Support process setup, trials, and parameter optimization for new and existing products.
- Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Document standard operating procedures, work instructions, and changeovers.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist with customer-related technical investigations and product performance issues.
- Train and support operators on proper equipment use, quality checks, and safety practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, and yield.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety, housekeeping, and regulatory requirements.
