Job Duties Operate manufacturing equipment including injection molding presses, CNC machines, and lathe-type slicers. Use manual and pneumatic tools such as ratchets, hex wrenches, and box-end wrenches. Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs. Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments as needed. Follow all safety procedures and production requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements Experience operating CNC machines, injection molding equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is highly desired. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely use hand and pneumatic tools. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.
Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Lift and move up to 35-40 pounds routinely. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
