Principal Supplier Quality Specialist – Troy, OH

- Analyzes and makes recommendations for the implementation of supplier’s assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes.
- Coordinates containment activities and the involvement of the right commodity or central quality representative; including SAP, iQMS, Epicor, etc. and Systems QN information support.
- Prepares and interprets CAB details for presentation to plant(s)/site(s) and coordinate implementation of action items/deliverables to the associate commodity or central quality representative.
- Ensures escape data integrity and validates QN responsibility.
- Assists on the prioritization and escalation of FAIs.
- Participates in tier meetings, Quality Clinics and provide onsite assistance for 2nd and 3rd party audits and ensure that follow ups are conducted and actions assigned are closed.
- Assists on Risk Release and Waiver requests as applicable.
- Supporting in review the non-fault found items and assist with their disposition.
- Facilitates the disposition of supplier’s request for process approval/changes to Flight Safety or Frozen Processes to their respective Business Unit.
- Travel will be less than 10 %.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience in reading blueprint.
- Experience in 2D/ 3D modeling software.
- ASQ CQE preferred.
- Experience in an Aerospace Quality environment a plus.
- Working knowledge of Process Flow Diagramming, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans per SAE J J1739 for Advanced Product Quality Planning an asset.
- Competent in Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R) and SPC desired.
- Experience with SAP, ETQ, Net Inspect.

Salary Range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
