Position: Quality Manager (USA‑based, supporting worldwide operations)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
- ISO implementation experience
- QA/QC knowledge
600+ employees worldwide, 40 in the U.S., and 8 engineers in the U.S. with 250+ engineers globally.
Duties & Responsibilities- Implement and adhere to company policies, objectives, strategies, and other guidelines.
- Lead and plan the work of the quality department.
- Own, audit, and improve the U.S. management system for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
- Maintain and develop ISO certifications for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
- Contribute to achieving KPI targets for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
- Support cross‑functional cost‑saving projects as needed.
- Co‑develop future quality strategy with colleagues and the VP QEHS.
- Execute quality deliverables in projects.
- Occupational health and safety responsibility for the quality department in Troy.
- Lead customer audits in the U.S.
- Release, stop, and block items.
- Take necessary actions on customer complaints to minimize/eliminate impact.
- Conduct internal quality, environment, and occupational health and safety audits.
- Make purchases within authorized limits.
- Measure, report, and follow up on quality issues and KPIs.
- Lead major quality issue projects and ensure cross‑functional solutions.
- Develop supplier quality assurance processes.
- Represent the department in meetings.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives with production.
- Ensure alignment with Toyota principles for QMB, Dantutso, and SCP work.
- Engage consultants to improve operations and manage projects where needed.
- Facilitate department participation in projects.
- Execute internal audits for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
- Advocate for environmental compliance and improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- ISO implementation expertise.
