Maintenance Technician

Duraco Specialty Tapes LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations producing specialty adhesive tapes. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and help minimize downtime in a safety-first environment. You will inspect and repair conveyors, converting and packaging machinery, and building systems while following strict safety and quality standards.

Working closely with production teams, you'll prioritize work orders, support equipment installations, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and adjustments to ensure safe operation
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history in CMMS or logs
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance work
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and 5
• S/housekeeping standards
• Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and reliability initiatives
