Wastewater Technician – 1st Shift

$25.00–$31.00/hour + $1.50/hour Weekly Attendance Bonus

We're partnering with a well-established food manufacturing company seeking a Wastewater Technician to join its first-shift team. What You'll Do

As a Wastewater Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping the facility's wastewater treatment system operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
  • Perform daily oiling, greasing, and preventative maintenance on pumps and equipment
  • Conduct chemical testing, drawdowns, and jar tests to maintain proper treatment levels
  • Monitor pH levels, calibrate probes, and document readings
  • Inspect pumps, water flow, and chemical delivery systems while making adjustments as needed
  • Monitor water pit levels and overall wastewater system performance
  • Maintain chemical inventory and coordinate timely reordering
  • Complete required operational logs and documentation
  • Follow all food safety, environmental, and workplace safety procedures
  • Assist with other wastewater operations and maintenance tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Comfortable working around industrial equipment in wet or varying temperature environments
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays
  • At least 18 and authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, industrial, wastewater, or production experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Stable work history
