Position: QA Automation Engineer (Full-time)

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of robust UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright (Type Script) and Cypress.
• Define and drive the overall automation testing strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation solutions following best practices.
• Develop and maintain API automation suites using tools such as Postman, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
• Review automation code, enforce quality standards, and provide technical guidance to QA team members.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level automation engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Integrate and optimize automated tests (UI & API) within CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Jenkins.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvements in test reliability and execution time.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Dev Ops teams on test planning, estimation, and release readiness.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted testing tools such as Git Hub Copilot and GenAI solutions to improve productivity and test coverage.
• Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches including intelligent test generation, self-healing tests, test optimization, and predictive analysis.
• Define automation metrics, reporting, and dashboards to provide clear visibility into quality and release health.

• 7+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on modern UI and API automation.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Playwright and Type Script.
• Solid, practical experience with Cypress.
• Proven experience in API automation (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing or similar).
• Strong understanding of Git, Git Hub workflows, and version control best practices.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Git Hub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of automation architecture, design patterns, and framework scalability.
• Demonstrated experience leading automation efforts and influencing QA strategy.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead by example.
• Hands-on experience using Git Hub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants in test automation workflows.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts in software testing or proven experience adopting AI-driven QA solutions.

• Experience implementing or evaluating AI-powered testing tools (self-healing automation, visual testing, test optimization).
• Experience defining QA standards and best practices at team or organization level.
• Exposure to cloud-based test execution and containerized environments (Docker, cloud runners).
• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments with strong collaboration skills.
