Warehouse Operator (Onsite)

• Receive job assignment and any special instructions from supervisor.
• Read necessary documents to verify receipts, stockroom materials, or shipment items.
• Prepare necessary documents including material verification slips, receivers, , and inventory slips.
• Unload or load vehicles, and transport materials within shipping, receiving, or receiving inspection areas as required.
• Receive, store, and retrieve materials from work area and transport them to Shipping, Assembly, Receiving Inspection, Warehouse, Assembly or cell/department while maintaining correct inventory records.
• Initiate orders for packaging supplies when required and set up SPL packaging jobs.
• Deliver materials to and from mailroom, Shipping, and Receiving.
• Perform duties to prepare items for shipment, including making boxes or crates, packaging, counting, weighing, labeling, painting, marking items, and completing required paperwork.
• Maintain work areas and machines in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Attend training classes, departmental meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Retrieve items from tool crib and complete forms/transactions as required.
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, moving, twisting, stooping, and responding to sounds associated with the work environment.
• Lifting:
  Unassisted lift up to 25 lbs.; any load over 25 lbs. requires assistance.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required and adhere to all EH&S roles and responsibilities.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year CNC machining experience or minimum of 2 years warehouse manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with technical documents such as routings, blueprints, engineering process specifications, or written work instructions.
