Warehouse Operator - 3rd shift

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Troy, OH

Work Style: Onsite

• Receive job assignment and any special instructions from supervisor.
• Read necessary documents to verify receipts, stockroom materials or shipment items, and prepare documents such as material verification slips, receivers, , inventory slips.
• Unload or load vehicles and transport materials within shipping, receiving, or receiving inspection as required.
• Receive, store, and retrieve materials from work area and transport as needed to Shipping, Assembly, Receiving Inspection, Warehouse, or department, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Initiate orders and set up SPL packaging jobs for packaging supplies when required.
• Deliver materials to/from the mailroom to/from Shipping and Receiving.
• Operate equipment to prepare items for shipment, including making boxes or crates, packaging, counting, weighing, labeling, painting or marking items, and completing the required paperwork.
• Maintain work areas and machines in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
• Attend training classes, departmental meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Retrieve items from tool crib and complete forms/transactions as required.
• Perform substantial reaching and moving while standing, twisting, stooping, and respond to sounds associated with the work environment.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted; heavier items require assistance.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Adhere to all EH&S responsibilities as stated in manufacturing instructions, EHS policies and procedures.

• Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year CNC machining experience or minimum of 2 years warehouse manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with technical documents (routings, blueprints, engineering process specifications, written work instructions).
