Instructional Assistant Special Education

Starting Salary $23.67- $ 27.71 Per Hour plus $3,000 Sign on Bonus. Bonus will be paid in $500 increments every 6 months until you reach the $3,000 amount.

The job of Instructional Assistant Special Education is done for the purpose/s of assisting assigned teaching personnel in the supervision and instruction of physically/emotionally handicapped and/or learning disabled students as assigned; and performing classroom clerical tasks in support of the instructional process.

Must be 18 years old. TB Test (Required Upon Job Offer). Fingerprints/Livescan (Required Upon Job Offer). Letter of Introduction. Letter(s) of Recommendation (Submit up to 3 Letters). High School Diploma. Resume. Must Pass TTUSD Para educator Exam or Proof of A.A degree/48 College Semester Units (Required Upon Job Offer).

2026- 2027 School Year

Part Time

6, 6.5, or 7 hours per day (Depending on the school site)
