Mountain Operations Manager

• Lead the overall direction, management, and successful operation of Soda Springs Mountain Operations
• Manage winter mountain operations, summer maintenance, and winter operating season preparation
• Lead and oversee mountain patrol, Tube Town operations, lift operations, parking services, and ticket checking
• Collaborate with snow making, snow removal, grooming, vehicle maintenance, and facility maintenance teams
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, discipline, and terminate employees as needed
• Build effective leadership and frontline teams while maintaining approved staffing levels and labor budgets
• Develop, implement, and enforce company and resort safety policies and procedures
• Identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and ensure participation in required safety programs and meetings
• Coordinate, plan, procure supplies for, and perform resort maintenance projects
• Address deferred maintenance and prepare facilities and activity venues for winter
• Lead early-season recruitment, onboarding, training preparation, staffing, equipment procurement, and operational planning

• Ability to perform light preventative repair and maintenance on resort vehicles and equipment

Demonstrates strong leadership in managing mountain operations, including staffing, safety compliance, and maintenance project oversight. Proficient in employee recruitment, training, and budget management within a resort environment.
