Stocking Associate

As a Stocking Associate at Mountain Hardware and Sports, you will ensure our shelves are well-stocked, organized, and customer-ready while providing excellent service. This role involves greeting customers, assisting them in locating products, unloading deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory using tools like RF scanners. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and accessible store environment, this position could be a great fit.

Work location: on-site (Donner Pass & Soaring Ranch locations)

Schedule: full-time & part-time (SUMMER SEASONAL)

Professional and friendly demeanor - creating a welcoming first/last impression for customers

Attention to detail - reducing mislabels, misplaced items, or inventory errors

Quality control - catching damage or mislabeled products before they hit the floor

Multi-tasking - managing and prioritizing projects appropriately

• Greet customers with a positive attitude, assist with locating products, and answer questions
• Unload deliveries, organize stock, and prepare merchandise for display, ensuring accurate labeling and rotation
• Use tools like RF scanners and computers to manage inventory and report discrepancies to management
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety, keeping walkways clear and adhering to company protocols
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting up to 56 lbs., climbing ladders, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to work in the United States
• Must be at least 16 years or older
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Must have ability to lift up to 56lbs
• Must have ability to use a ladder
• Ability to use provided computer, programs, and technology-based equipment when needed
• Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, confined environment while maintaining focus and efficiency
