City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and social-emotional support to students in partnership with teachers
• Tutor students individually and in small groups to improve attendance, behavior, and course performance
• Use data to track student progress and adjust support strategies
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team to plan and lead school-wide activities and enrichment programs
• Engage with families and school staff to foster a positive, inclusive school climate
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and leadership development opportunities
