Outsourced Accountant

Our client, a global medical device company, is seeking an experienced Outsourced Accountant to provide short‑term, onsite accounting support. This engagement is designed to address near‑term capacity needs within the finance organization and support core accounting operations during a high‑demand period. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to step into a fast‑paced, regulated environment with minimal ramp‑up time.

This is a contract‑based, onsite assignment.

• Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses
• Assist with accruals and intercompany accounting
• Provide support for audit requests and internal documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables and variance analysis
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience
• Experience with in manufacturing, healthcare, or medical device environments preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work onsite and quickly integrate into an existing team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
