Position:
Special Education Teacher – Oakview Transition School/RISE Program (Full time, following 2025‑2026 school year.
Start Date:
August 19, 2025.)
We are seeking a qualified special education teacher to work in a regional special education program for high school and young adult children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism. The teacher will work with well‑trained teams in a positive teaching environment. Extensive staff development and teacher support will be provided.
Qualifications- CT Certification (165) required.
- Degree in special education and eligibility for/holding of a State of Connecticut teaching certificate.
- Previous teaching experience and a MS/MA in the discipline/field are preferred.
