Case Manager & PPT Coordinator

The Case Manager and PPT Coordinator at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in mentoring teachers, conducting trainings, developing curricula and representing Aspire at PPT meetings. Key responsibilities include supporting leadership and school culture; supporting curriculum development, lesson planning, and staff training; parent and community engagement; cultivating a positive work environment; completing trainings as assigned; and accepting reassignment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field with at least 3-5 years' experience required
- CT certification in special education (CT 165)
- Proven experience providing case management support to new teachers
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and the PPT process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in writing progress reports and presenting at meetings
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff effectively
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Proficient in conducting evaluation observations and providing constructive feedback
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to advocating for the needs of students with special needs
- Familiarity with current educational standards and regulations related to special education
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
