Special Education Teacher in Trumbull, CT

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting either 4th/5th grade or 7th/8th grade students in a dynamic resource setting. This contract role begins August 25, 2026 (or sooner if available), and continues through June 7, 2027. Step into a collaborative environment, working Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm EST, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a total of 35 hours per week.

Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, depending on experience.

• Valid Connecticut teaching license with 165 or 265 Special Education Certification
• Background working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in resource/push-in/pull-out models
• Experience with 4th/5th or 7th/8th grade students preferred
• Skilled in adapting instruction to individual learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
