THE WORK
  • Perform the following inspection tasks on components listed on training Competency Sheet:
  • Evaluation Inspection
  • Final Inspection
  • Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility:
  • Receiving Inspections
  • Preliminary Inspections
  • In‑Process Inspections
  • Use precision measuring instruments and gauges such as feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data.
  • Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORIs, OREIs, drawings, check sheets, etc.
  • Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation.
  • Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history.
  • Research compliance requirements of components in work using ADs, ASBs, and other technical data.
  • Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASBs, ORIs, OREIs and blueprints.
  • Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.
  • Filing and archiving of records
  • Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
  • Tag and report to TPM Manager any equipment that is unsafe or requires maintenance.
  • Segregate hazardous waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
  • Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.

This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs:
Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.
