Our client is a highly respected professional services organization and they're seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to support its finance department. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support leadership decision‑making
- Monitor cash flow, revenue trends, and firm profitability
- Oversee billing, collections, timekeeping accuracy, and compliance with trust accounting requirements
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, general ledger functions, audits, and tax‑related processes
- Lead process improvements to enhance workflows, systems, and reporting
- Support partner‑level compensation modeling and resource allocation
- Supervise finance team members, promoting high performance and accountability
- Serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing strategic insights as a Financial Operations Manager
- Ensure full compliance with audit, tax, trust accounting, and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally within professional services
- Experience with financial and billing systems (SurePoint, Elite, Aderant, Clio, or similar)
- Strong understanding of trust accounting, compliance, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to excel in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment
- A professional, proactive, and collaborative mindset essential to success as a Financial Operations Manager
