Our client, a global leader in consumer goods specializing in laundry and home care products, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist
, you will be part of the Regulatory Affairs Department
, supporting cross‑functional product development teams to ensure that new and existing products comply with all applicable regulations in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent collaboration skills, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset
, which will enable them to navigate complex regulatory requirements and contribute successfully to the organization’s compliance goals.

Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Location: Trumbull, CT

Pay Range: $30/hour

What’s the Job?
  • Approve label copy and assist with artwork approvals to ensure compliance with US and Canadian regulations.
  • Support Safety Data Sheet (SDS) development and ingredient disclosure requirements.
  • Evaluate and document regulatory compliance of raw materials, formulations, and packaging.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain product regulatory compliance.
  • Develop programs and processes to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including TSCA, Prop 65, VOC, and other applicable standards.
What’s Needed?
  • Experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in consumer products, laundry, or home care.
  • Knowledge of US and Canadian regulations (e.g., TSCA, Consumer Product Safety Act, Prop 65, VOC regulations).
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and priorities effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional interactions.
