Telephone Receptionist - Per Diem

Position: Telephone Receptionist - Per Diem (As Needed)
Yale New Haven Health -  - Responsibilities:
Receives and appropriately routes all inbound telephone calls in a timely manner according to script and routing guidelines;
Initiates telephone encounters in Epic system with complete information and routes to appropriate clinician or Epic inbasket pool;
Refers patient calls for appointment scheduling to clinical staff;
Demonstrates proficiency in operating the telephone system, paging, and call transfer;
Keeps contact lists current and maintains call-related documentation
