- The General Assembler II supports the manufacturing process by assembling, inspecting, and testing products to meet quality and production standards. This role involves working independently or in teams to perform a variety of assembly tasks, maintain equipment and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement across production operations.
- Performs more complex assembly operations with limited supervision.
- Ensure line clearance is completed, labels are verified for accuracy, and the work order DHR is thoroughly reviewed.
- Conducts minor adjustments, changeovers, or testing of assemblies.
- May train or assist new assemblers (Level
1). - Ensures quality control compliance and proper documentation.
- Typically needs 2-4 years of experience in assembly or related field.
- Understands basic troubleshooting and equipment setup.
