Our client, a world-leading medical device company focused on improving lives through innovative, consumer-centered solutions is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team in Trumbull, CT!
Location: Trumbull, CT
Pay rate: $19-$21/hr
Schedule: 1st shift (Mon-Thurs. 6AM-4:30PM)
Job type: Contract (can convert or extend)
Assemble, test, and package electromechanical components and finished products while following established work instructions and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble small, precision components using hand tools and magnification equipment.
- Build sub-assemblies and finished products according to work instructions.
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and clean room requirements.
- Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of electromechanical or hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with hand tools and small-part assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures.
- Soldering experience preferred.
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
Pay Rate Low: 17.50 | Pay Rate High: 18
