Position Details

Title: Pesticide Product Registration Specialist

Position Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Job Location: Hybrid – Trumbull, CT (Wednesday and Thursday) and Remote

Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $35−$45/HR

Job Description

This role involves pesticide product registration and compliance work requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiasm for supporting business development, and strong technical capabilities in new end‑use product registrations. The successful candidate will have a background in FIFRA product registration, including data generation and efficacy testing to support cost‑effective and time‑sensitive regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage projects related to pesticide product registration, safety, and compliance.
  • Support FIFRA registrations for conventional pesticides, including preparing, submitting, and/or managing product applications.
  • Manage multiple product registrations and project teams while ensuring scope, budget, and schedule requirements are met.
  • Ensure quality standards across all project deliverables.
  • Coordinate and support regulatory submissions and documentation required for EPA‑related pesticide approvals.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (required). Advanced degree in a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pesticide product registration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience preparing and submitting pesticide registration applications, including product labels, offers‑to‑pay, data matrices, and related documentation (required).
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations related to pesticide registration (required).
  • Working knowledge of regulatory programs such as FIFRA, TSCA, and Proposition 65 (required).
  • Experience managing multiple complex product registrations, compliance initiatives, EHS compliance, or similar regulatory projects (required).
  • Experience with safety, compliance, and EHS‑related practices (preferred).
