Job Description
Our Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department. Their duties include hiring and training sales staff, communicating sales quotas and leads, and ensuring performance meets targets.
Key Responsibilities- Must have experience in one call close (Exterior/Interior Home Remodeling)
- Review schedule of appointments from Inside Sales and adjust as needed
- Generate a minimum of 3 new leads per week, totaling 12 per month
- Conduct "Ride Alongs" with Sales reps 4-5 times per week
- Complete cancel-save appointments
- Review performance results daily and take necessary actions to meet plan expectations
- Prepare and lead weekly sales meetings
- Utilize In-Home Sales Team Lead to coach In-Home Sales Representatives and provide frequent feedback
- Conduct regular meetings with subordinates to discuss business context, plans, and problems
- Assign tasks clearly with expectations, deadlines, and resources
- Appraise the effective use of judgment and discretion in task execution; discuss appraisals
- Coach subordinates to increase effectiveness and meet expectations
- Select new employees from candidate lists provided by the immediate manager
- Conduct two-week in-home sales representative training classes and workshops as needed
- Provide training on role requirements, working relationships, and company culture
- Make deselection decisions when employees cannot perform required work and inform own manager
- Must have experience in one call close (Exterior/Interior Home Remodeling)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years' experience in a sales role preferred
- Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle
- Sales Management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Outside Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
