Mobile Engineer

About The Role

Candidate will support assigned service calls for 5‑6 retail stores within a geographical area. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems, as well as general maintenance related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing, and similar tasks. Company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad, and iPhone will be provided.

• Perform assigned day‑to‑day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance; complete maintenance and repairs, and record them as required.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, order necessary materials and supplies, and use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including HVAC, plumbing systems, roofs, and drains.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Inspect building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and meets client‑specified environmental conditions.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain building lighting systems, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance as required.
• Report and communicate daily work activity via PDA device.

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and periodic checks.
• Skills to operate a full‑size van or truck.
• Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or PDA for work order systems, email, and training.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
