A&P Mechanic

PGS Worldwide is seeking an A&P Mechanic in Trumbull, CT for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The A&P Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, service, and inspect rotary wing aircraft components. This role requires the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical maintenance manuals, use test equipment, and maintain FAA-required records, manuals, and inspection forms. The position requires an A&P license or equivalent military experience.

Required Skills

• A&P license required, or equivalent military experience.

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing rotary wing aircraft components.

• Ability to inspect aircraft components as needed.

• Ability to interpret and use wiring diagrams.

• Ability to read and follow technical maintenance manuals.

• Experience using test equipment.

• Ability to maintain or create FAA-required records, manuals, and inspection forms.

• Ability to demonstrate prior relevant work history.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot rotary wing aircraft components.

• Repair and service aircraft components.

• Inspect aircraft components as required.

• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical maintenance manuals.

• Use various test equipment to support repair and inspection work.

• Maintain FAA-required documentation, records, manuals, and inspection forms.

Pay

• $13.50 - $27.50 per hour
