Radar Systems​/Software Engineer

TSC in Trumbull, CT is seeking a Radar Systems / Software Engineer to support airborne surveillance radar programs for customers, including the U.S. Army and its prime contractors. The role focuses on integrating components of a modeling and simulation framework—such as modes, a target tracker, a platform model, and an antenna model—to accelerate test and evaluation.

• Work with senior engineers to integrate and test various pieces of the M&S framework.
• Develop near‑real‑time code so models can deliver answers quickly.
• Critically interpret results and recommend software or algorithm fixes to the senior engineering team.
• Recommend laboratory and flight testing to assess performance.
• Review and analyze collected test results.
• Brief technical accomplishments to mixed audiences of technical and managerial staff.

• B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of related radar work experience.
• 5+ years in modeling and simulation development and execution.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux‑based software development environments.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, CUDA, and VHDL.
• High‑level understanding of model‑based engineering, radar system design, real‑time radar signal processing, and potential radar hardware and software issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Salary range: $105,000–$170,000 per year, depending on experience and location. The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation.
