We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused individual to join the team at The Alverton Hotel as Bar Server. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining high standards in a busy bar environment.
Please note this is a part time role, weekend availability is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests.
  • Prepare and serve drinks to specification, maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding confidently to guest requests and queries.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation behind the bar and within service areas.
  • Support restaurant and events teams during busy periods when required.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and maintaining bar organisation.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred, full training provided.
  • A friendly, positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
